Just goes to show how no good deed goes unpunished....

Liberal democrats championing the flood of "migrants" into city have totally effed their previous beloved group, established illegal aliens.

People who have been in NY for decades and made decent money (I guess) doing all sorts of work off books now are finding themselves competition against a flood of cheap "migrant" labor.

It's happy hunting grounds for businesses and others looking for cheap labor, and since illegal aliens can't vote anyway....

What is the difference between 'migrants" and "illegal aliens" ?

Most of these so called "migrants" have been paroled into USA by Biden.

Illegal immigrants/aliens just arrive and set up house.

I was thinking the same. But I doubt it.

Not for nothing many of these migrants are coming from places where they didn't even have indoor plumbing much less lawns. Much as it pains one to say this you're better off sticking with established illegal aliens such as the Mexicans who have been here for awhile. No, their work varies by person and always isn't best, but on average it's going to be better.

People one knows have hired a few of these "migrants" for everything from landscape to housecleaning/domestic work, it all was a disaster. End of day they just said "stop", gave them their money and sent them on their way.

Don’t utilize these skells or the scumbag trades contractors that employ them.
Those degenerate skells are just as guilty as the skells jumping the fence.
We give them a reason to come here because they know there is work. Then nobody pays taxes and the job pool and wages get watered down. Taxes then go up to cover the difference.

People ragging on Mexicans forget that it's a positively first world country compared to much of the planet. These people coming in aren't even fluent in their own language, none the less English.

Also, the people behind this don't care about the last wave of illegals any more than they care about working class blacks, who were the first to suffer from illegal immigration.

If Eric Adams has them evicted from their hotel rooms with no job, money or connections, what could happen? An increase in crime, maybe, as desperate people resort to desperate measures to pay for food? If they can't be sent back (optimal solution) then giving them some kind of work means the general public is in less danger of being a crime victim.
