Admittingly haven't walked across BB in decades and really don't take it when driving much as prefer to reach SI via NJ. Had no idea they allowed people to set up shop on BB's walkways.

It’s the same in a lot of places in other neighborhoods of NYC because there’s no enforcement. I feel like this city is really going downhill

I see Brooklyn bridge been looking third world lately saw vendors before pre-COVID 2019 but in 2023 it is insane.

Of course the city council wants over react and ban all vendors just ban the unlicense ones run by mostly illegal aliens!

Look past the headline. They want to make it "all or nothing" because they know "nothing" isn't a rational response. That way "all" becomes the default.

It's a pedestrian walkway, there should be no vendors.! Path is too narrow with all the people as it is. No need for shops set up and having people stop and go.
