Reportedly, a homeless man (clearly mentally ill, on drugs, or some combination) was pulling all the brakes on the stopped train before leaving. None of this would have happened if they were taken off the streets and subways. Our metro system is not meant to be an open air asylum for lunatics.

It's getting to the point that the only solution for homeless is to round them up by force and ship them upstate to camps in the forest. And anyone who acts out should get immediately hanged to set an example for others. People will say this is cruel. Well, these same critics will think it is not as cruel to walk by a homeless man or woman with oozing sores on their feet and trying to shove strangers onto subway tracks. Put them somewhere they cannot bother anyone or put them with the Lord.
You don't see deranged homeless acting out in other countries which know how to take charge.

Guess I'm cancelling my weekend plans. Not dealing with several trains on the weekend since they say the 2 will still be out. Happened on the 1 train yet the 2 train riders suffer.
