Back when I was involved in Vietnam War Protests, it was because our country was sending over our young men to fight in a war that had nothing to do with us. It amazes me that people are so actively protesting a war that we are not involved in, and have no means to end it. If they actually oppose one side or the other they need to go over there and protest where it might actually be seen by the players. We had a similar protest shutting down the I5 Freeway in Seattle, with the protestors leaving and abandoning many cars there that had to be towed away. Probably stolen.

Dont these people have jobs??

Sad to see people protesting some foreign arm pit being cleaned out, but no country wide protests about illegal invasion of USA.

Why are the cops bothering to saw their pipes? Don’t they know the protestors will then later sue the city and get a settlement and forum Leftists like DaveinMtAiry will cry about how they were injured by the police?

Welcome to the Leftist dominant clown world that we are living in now. Criminals are celebrated, police and founding fathers are scorned, taxpayers are punished while illegals are lavished with freebies, etc.

It would be faster to just go through their arms. And much more entertaining!
Make it a pay for view and give the money for food for Gaza! At least the protests would actually accomplish something then.

If you park in a handicap space or by a hydrant it's like a $600 fine and your car is towed (another $200).
What kind of fines are these people receiving?

Nothing, they will get paid. Since they represent well financed non-profit groups that are sponsored by many state terrorism groups and Russia. All of the protesters will be represented by lawyers that will sue NYPD and they will all receive paychecks. Your taxes are going to pay legal fees, who knows. Mayor Adams would have ties to these also since he's being investigated by the Feds.

My boss said that all NY politicians run scams, every single one. Not one mayor or governor had a clean record. Everyone of Mayor Adams appointee are affiliated with his businesses.

This is embarrassing that idiots like this are disrupting the daily life of NY'ers.

Unfortunately, NY brought a lot of this on themselves with their stance on crime. Of course, the biggest criminals are usually the ones in office, so it is no surprise.
