THanks for the suggestions PetePiper. I have done boric acid..and I have even gotten those things you plug in the walls that are supposed to keep them away. I have probably had a total of 6 disgusting cockroaches over the last 2 months in my place..about 10 since I have lived here. But I have been here for 7.5 months. It's not like they are crawling everywhere but I just DON'T wanna see them. I'm a fraidy cat lol. I WILL caulk up the cracks. I'm gonna be a maniac about this. And upstaterinbklyn, unfortunately those aren't the kinds of roaches I am getting. I will post a picture of the kind of roaches that I am getting.
Yup, as soon as you said HUGE Cockroach, I knew it was a water bug. Its true, you dont see these very often..quite a rarity thankfully. Scary thing is, when I was living in Bermuda I noticed their huge cockroach/water bugs actually FLY! Eeeeeeeeeeeek!
LOL I've heard the song...But this is my post and I can cry if I want to! LOL
Ok someone said these cockroaches are a rarity..phew..maybe I can relax. I am going to try the windex thing. I sprayed 409 on one before and it took a LOT.
Buy a can of raid and spray it around your baseboards. That way anytime some roaches try to crawl out of your walls they just walk thru poison and die instead. Just make sure to ventilate the place after you do this.
