Hello, I was wondering if there was any street parking on a Friday during the day. I have an interview in Chelsea at 11:30 am and I am coming from Long Island. I plan on staying in the city Friday night and then eventually returning to my car early Saturday morning to go back to LI. Any places I can park? Im willing to park anywhere (Uptown, Brooklyn, Queens) as long as there is a subway or LIRR that will get me to where I need to go. Thanks.

Find a side street in Forest Hills Queens where you can park, and take the LIRR into the city. Or you might be able to find some on street parking on the lower east side and then just take the subway or taxi to Chelsea.

On a Friday morning fuhgeddaboutit! If your car is not particularly new or halfway decent you can park near Queens center and catch the subway at Woodhaven blvd - but everybody has the same idea so prepare to circle around endlessly looking for a parking spot.
