I know nowadays they aren't as prevailent as they have been, but would you ever see the Sopranos style gangster walking around the city?

I've always been curious how they fit into the city since watching that show

I could always tell when I lived on Long Island. Maybe it's more obvious there. They'd drive around in black Escalades and other black fancy cars, and wear suits even outside of work.
Yea.. they're there, but you would never be able to tell the difference between a mafioso and a regular italian. The Mafia has been on the decline for a while though..
The mob is as strong as it ever was. It is the dummies who make themselves apparent who end up in jail. The smart ones are the ones at cocktail parties with politicians, judges, and hedge find operators. Their kids are all lawyers.

Sure I see them all the time--- the problem is upon further examination they are really from Iowa--- you really need to stop going to the movies and watching tv
