You should see the New Yankee stadium, hop up the Grand Concourse and see the old Edgar Allen Poe cottage, scoot over to Arthur Ave (Bronx's Little Italy), check out the Botanical Gardens right next door, and then cruise into the Bronx Zoo.

It may be "touristy" to some but I am not going to miss the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The more I go to some of the Art Museums on the east coast the more I want to go. The one in New Orleans is pretty nice too. Some day I hope to go back and see the third floor. We are going to be in NYC on May 7th to the 11th.

Forest Hills Gardens is a nice neighborhood in Queens. It has a pretty cobble-stoned square next the LIRR (Long Island Railroad) station as well nice houses, trees, etc.
