no, they don't bomb trains anymore. which is sad because graffiti really bought the trains to life. now, IMO, their just bland and lifeless.
To _you_, maybe.
When a big bombed train would pull up, it was like a big, depressing banner that said, "Hello, suckers! You pay the taxes, but we 'own' the stuff!"
You do realize that some of us in the slower parts of the world think that by 'bomb' you meant something else entirely? I was thinking that I didnt remember hearing about a time in NYC when trains exploded with monotonous regularity. Interesting terminology though, and it's good to learn something new!

really? because everything i pay taxes for says that, not just graffiti. so you should share those same sentiments with alot of things.

_Everything_?
In that case, the tagging should be 10 feet high across Gracie Mansion, One Centre St., City Hall, banking-financial-business HQs, rich honchos' townhouses and Park/Fifth Ave. co-ops, City Council and NYS assembly/senate reps' neighborhoods, glossy-flossy office buildings, et al ... as a form of noble protest vs. tax-misuse and the tax-advantaged.
Instead, it targets places/services used by everyday schlubs with little power and few choices (including poor folks, who literally have to live _in_ the tagging).
It's a double insult when you're marginalized by the powers that be, and when the few things you do have -- or must use -- are vandal-targeted _because_ you lack clout.
