There are a lot of neighborhoods in The Bronx that have low crime rates and are very comfortable to live in. Some are : Riverdale,Van Cortlandt Village,Woodlawn,Norwood ,Bedford Park,Bronxdale, Pelham Parkway,Morris Park,Pelham Gardens,Pelham Bay,Throg's Neck,City Island and Country Club. Most of Allerton and Baychester are also very safe.

If you're in HS, are you going to be renting there? Just curious. GO YOU! I'm aiming for a focus on medicine as well..however, I am a college student .

I heard Parkchester is nice..and Riverdale as well.

The area along Broadway north of 230th street is generally decent and pretty close to the school.
