Question about taxes (Norway: rent, how much, income)

My husband and I live in Oslo, Norway now and he just got a job offer from a company in NYC. They offered him 190000 gross salary and we're trying to calculate how much net income we should expect after taxes. I heard that taxes are very high in NY. We're expecting a baby now and just want to make sure that it will worth it to move to a new country. I'd appreciate if u inform me about the tax % in NYC. Thanks!!!!!

You will pay approx. 37% of you gross salary......then it depends on your dependents and if you own or rent , for your tax refund............
