I was wondering if there any single family homes in the Bronx with yards like you see in Queens, Staten Island, and southern Brooklyn? I have been to the Bronx many times and haven't seen any maybe I am looking in the wrong areas.

You definitely need to do more exploring of the beautiful Bronx.

There are lots of neighborhoods with single family houses, yards, garages, swimming pools,etc... some are in waterfront neighborhoods.Check out Riverdale,Woodlawn,Pelham Parkway,Morris Park,Pelham Gardens,Baychester,Throg's Neck,Country Club and City Island .

Here is a picture of a typical house in Morris Park.Looks a lot like Queens.

Or a cute house on City Island.More like Westchester.

Or,if you have 2 million you have this house in Riverdale.
Mod cut: NO links to specific property ads/properties for sale.

Or this for 9 million

Or an old house with a nice view of the Hudson.

sure there are a lot of areas in queens with similar housing stock.

to the OP, you should look at a section of the Bronx called Indian Village.

Good one,Seventh and you sure do know your city.
Many life long Bronxites have never heard of Indian Village and have no idea where it is.

NY is full of surprises and parts of The Bronx are some of them.
Most people(including many native NY'ers) think it is all a burned out ghetto and are afraid to see for themselves that it isn't.

There are whole entire large sections like this. I would try Throggs Neck, and Pelham Parkway.

They don't even had sidewalks in parts of Riverdale. I just found this out and I'm totally amazed!
