I don't understand why anybody would care what list number you have once you get on the job believe me everybody will know who they have beat and who has them beat.Plus the Chief has published the list with everyones list number.
also the chief will print online and offline who got appointed...
Even though he didn't mention me, I was the one who last posted the updated list on here, he was just venting, not going to take it personally.

I picked up a pair of 8690 Hikers. They came highly recommended, and highly expensive. I hope they are worth it. P.S. If you have foot problems, I would suggest spending the extra sixty bucks and get the orthotic inserts.

Everyone here posts their 3 digit list #, you could only go wrong 9 times. So it is very easy to find out who is who. Besides OK you have a name & List #, then what ?

I have enough experience driving trucks and working with private sanitation so if you're on a truck with me feel happy that you're not with someone who just got their CDL and doesn't really know much. But I know I'm good...Morons are the idiots who don't know the reason and assuming them. I'll leave ya to your unthinking minds. And I don't think you can purchase city uniforms with patches without your ID...
