ok so im going for my medical tomorrow i think the whole room is goin on the same day they are in a big rush to get everything going like i thought........ theyre not sure on a date for the class they said either 100 in dec or 100 in jan or 100 from late dec to early jan or 50 in dec and 50 in jan theyre was like 40 people in the room today 8 didnt have cdl and 1 didnt have permit there is a cdl training class on the 19th and theyre making another i believe any questions ask ill post if i remember anything important

Thanks Honest Abe, you have to go to the DSNY clinic on Beaver St in downtown Manhattan right? What subway is the closest to 346 Broadway coming from Queens? The E train at Canal St? thanks

Yeah basically thats all that happened...

It was the most boring thing to endure ..... Esp since we been thru this process already...

They start letting guys in at 7:50 ... then after being placed in the conference room your waiting there for a hour and a half before the Director of human resourse talks to you for about 10 mins... then your waiting again for another hour ... then the Deputy Director of Human Resourse comes to talk to you for about 20 mins and takes questions....

Around 12 is when they start to give guys their report dates to get their medical...

It was just very long and boring... I dunno.. maybe it was cause I knew everything but I felt that everyone was as bored as me... I had to walk out to find something to occupy myself..

i took the 7 to the 5 or 6 but 6 is local takes too long got off at city hall and walked 1 block over to broadway and couple blocks up like 3 its not bad at all

also i wanted to ask u guys... all day ive been feelin sick but now its gotten worse im afraid that i might not be able to sit in that room and wait i think i got a virus or somthin.. i tried to call hr but they werent there... do u think or know if they wud let me take it the next day or somthing if i came in with a doctors note and called them first thing in the morning.........or is it if u miss ur day they pass u up.. i really dont want to risk it but i cant control how im gunna be feeling tomorrow

Yes they are accurate. For any new hire the second chart is for you, the one that is for hired after jan 06. That was our last contract.

its wrong.... I have access to the contract sheets... hell they gave all of us today in orientation they gave us a copy of the contract..
