I'm curious, what type of stores or restaurants (if any) are underground at the Times Square subway station. Thanks.

Default well,

it's not like the underground shops at Rockefeller Center, but it's not like it was in the 70's and 80's when they had those awful penny arcades. I will never forget when late in 1979 a gang rampaged through the underground station at 42nd and 8th and started beating and robbing people

All i know at the Times Square subway kiosk (the 123, NR lines) is some kind of oldies record store

At the 42 street and 8th Avenue station there is a jeans store and a few other nondescript clothes stores

I don't think there are any restaurants

Yea, there's really nothing in the station.. the only thing I ever notice is RAG, the jeans store.. but there's a bunch of food places and stuff in the Port Authority which is attached to the train station.

Cool. But I saw a clip that was supposedly in TS station. It looked like a TV/electronics store was down there.

That clip was most likely 20 years old or more. Now you have some casual mens wear shops and some hat shops thats about it.

There's a flower shop and a customized tee-shirt store. It's really cheap stuff. Ghetto-fashion, really.

Here's a different clip. But it shows the same thing in the background. (About 1 minute into the clip)
It's what I had thought was an electronics store. I guess not. It's actually more clearly seen in this one.
