Hello friends, I was hoping someone might help me clarify a confusion.

I began working on September 17th, 2014, and my facility will be shutting down and moving on March 15th (Maybe less or maybe more...). I am not sure if this time frame would make me eligible for the unemployment. Here is a quote from the New York Labor website: "You must have worked and been paid wages for work in at least two calendar quarters in your base period"

There are three ways that I could think eligibility is determined:

1- The days are counted for eligibility, so day-to-equal-day counts as one month, and I need to have worked 6 months
Sept 17 - Oct. 17 = 1 month
Oct 17 - Nov 17 = 1 month
Nov 17 - Dec 17 = 1 month
Dec 17 - Jan 17 = 1 month
Jan 17 - Feb 17 = 1 month
Feb 17 - Mar 15 = O months
This results in 5 months, and thus no eligibility.

2 - Just the fact that I worked during in a certain month and been paid in that month counts as a one of the months for the calendar quarter. This thought process will give me 7 months (September, 2014 - March, 2015)

3 - At least have worked and been paid within two calendar quarters. From this understanding I worked and been paid in at least 3 calender quarters.
July 1st - Sept. 31st = 1 quarter
October 1st - Dec. 31st = 1 quarter
January 1st - March 31st = 1 quarter

Now that I look back at what I have written, I must have surely over thought this. Unfortunately, I tend to do these kind of things, and in turn drive myself to the edge of madness. Fortunately, I have a bountiful community with lovely people that could bring clarity to this situation.

If you have read this far, I thank you, and if you answer me I send you a heart.... <3.
