Bumping this thread now that summer is here. What are people's favorite upstate NY beaches on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario?
It's important to note that every one of the Great Lakes are experiencing high water levels. Lake Ontario is 3' above average. Many of the beaches and parks have been devastated and might be closed. I advise calling first
With that said, a lake like Oneida Lake, the biggest lake completely within the state has beaches such as Sylvan Beach, Verona Beach, Oneida Shores and even William Beach, a small town of Cicero beach, could be viable options for those coming Upstate.

I understand that the Finger Lakes are at normal levels. Always a great and varied place to visit.
