Me and my husband are in the process of buying a place in Wappingers Falls and I wanted to know more about the area from the locals.
I have two little kids (3 years and 8 months) and life revolves in part around them. Are there enough things to do for kids? Like storytime at the local library? Any community center? Playgrounds? Indoor playspaces or playgroups?
And number two, with only one car, I will have to bike to the train station. Is Wappingers bikeable? Can I bike to the supermarket or the train station? We will be quite close to those places but I don't see bike paths. Can I safely bike around without getting run over?
Shouldn't you have looked into this before you bought a house?
We didn't buy a house. We're looking. And whether there's Storytime at the library won't make it or break it, I just want to know.
