I was in a Chinese restaurant in the left half of the country, and that was on the menu.

No one could tell me what it entailed, but finally someone shrugged, "Maybe it's bigger."

It's got pastrami in it, tossed in Buffalo wing-style sauce, served as part of a garbage plate with a side of Utica Greens.

I think they are larger in diameter.

I grew up with them and it seems like everywhere else, egg rolls are significantly smaller and more wrapper than filling.

I’m not positive, but I think it’s an egg roll filled with Rueben ingredients.

It is literally just bigger. That's all. Nothing fancy. Different ratio of filling to shell as a result.

In the eastern US, most egg rolls are actually NY style.
