Hello,

I am thinking of moving to the Avalon located in Nanuet. Any feedback? Most important, how is public transportation to the city from there? Is driving the only way to get to the nearest bus that would take you to the city?

I know about the Transit situation.

Theres a Train Station in Nanuet and you can take the Train to NY Penn via Seacacus JCT transfer. Or to Hoboken if you want Lower Manhattan via the PATH. Both take 60-70 mins , a Bus could take up to 2 hrs knowing the Traffic up there during the rush hours. Trains run every 30-45mins. Hopes this helps.

The bus to NY runs right through Avalon...and will drop you off in Avalon at the end of your day...it is not 24/7...and I think the last bus out of NY is 12AM
