The bargain is simple for Buffalo Bills fans: Get vaccinated, and you can enter the stadium. Erie County officials hope that this pledge will encourage fans who want to attend in-person games to get COVID-19 shots. But the proposal will require proof of inoculation for entry, raising questions from public health experts and resistance from Governor Andrew Cuomo.

It will be interesting to see if the boarder is open by football season. IDK how many fans come from there, but this may be an indicator
As a Bills fan, I suspect that probably 10% of season ticket holders are Canadians, and with single game attendees, probably almost 20% of fans in the stands are Canadians for most games.
Thank you for your opinion. I'm more looking for facts, with talks of a new stadium, which I'm sure will include massive taxpayer money.

From this article: “ For years the Bills have relied on massive single-game ticket sales in Ontario. In March 2015, Bills co-owner Terry Pegula told me, “Yeah, 12% of our season-ticket holders and 22% of our receipts are from Ontario.” A year later, then Bills president Russ Brandon told reporters that Rochester, N.Y., and Ontario each accounted for some 18-20% of the crowd at every Bills home game. Meaning Buffalo-area residents constituted no more than 60-64% of home ticket sales.”
So, they definitely constitute a good portion of the ticket buyers.
I’m curious about numbers from other nearby NY areas like the Southern Tier or Syracuse, as well as NW Pennsylvania.

I'm curious too. The numbers in the article, Ontario-18-20% + Rochester 18-20% + Buffalo 60-64% looks an awful lot like 100% without considering southern tier and Syracuse/Utica, etc. Also, regarding Ontario they state 12% season and 22% of receipts. Does that mean 22% from Ontario or 34%? It's not clear. This is why I keep asking. They should be able to state EXACT season ticket holders, and I'm sure nobody will cross the boarder or drive 100 miles to buy a ticket on game day, so they must know the numbers based on zip code. I would bet that the southern tier numbers are lumped into the Buffalo numbers, but this is why I keep asking. Until I see official numbers, not rounded numbers in a newspaper article, I will continue to ask.

I take that as 12% season tickets holders and 22% overall, similar to what Dingo Gibby stated. You may get Canadians that aren’t season ticket holders that buy online or even outside of the stadium/at the gate.
this is NOT final yet. Our fascist governor who is under multiple investigations still has to sign off on it. A lot can happen between now and early September.

Some will say that that trade off is no bargain at all.
