I don't drink wine but my wife does and I often get her a nice bottle and I try to get NY made as often as possible.

NY is such a tiny producer of wine this can be difficult.

Ca makes 90% of all US wine with NY and Washington at like 4-5% each. I also have cause to support Washington when possible. The other states are all .0000 percentages.

Her favorite is merlot. NY is not a merlot state for, well reasons. I'm told its produced on Long Island or something. Hard to find at anyrate.
