I agree that a more moderate position is what people want.

I'm also wondering where this hardcore left wing hate towards her is coming from, as I haven't seen any signs of it made known or public.

I'm curious once Hochul finishes the rest of this term, will she actually run for the position as governor? I actually think she would have a good shot, if she does.

probably so.. if de Blasio runs he gonna be shut down, and I like him. Right now, it’s best that we let this woman come in and do her thing, without pre determining how she’s gonna lead

She's likely only a place holder until the 2022 election.

I'm surprised Cuomo resigned. I thought he was going to fight harder to stay on...

Ask governor Patterson how that worked out for him....

And Patterson basically had a full four years after Spitzer was thrown out for sleeping with whowas.

Hochul will have about fifteen months until statewide elections in November 2022, and you can bet every liberal, progressive, socialist, left democrat in state is lining up to make that run. It isn't very often an open NYS governors seat comes along, and without a longstanding incumbent in the way many will see it as time to make their move.

That James woman likely first out of the gate, now that she helped give Cuomo the push.
