I've been saying this was Cuomo's real problem - that so few people really liked him.

Andrew Cuomo and How a Political Dynasty Dies
Perhaps the most telling difference between father and son was that people liked Mario Cuomo. He had a large circle of lifelong friends, from college classmates to gubernatorial appointees. Many remained loyal long after they stopped working for him; he generated genuine affection.
The same was not true for Andrew Cuomo. “The problem with Cuomo is no one has ever liked him,” Richard Ravitch told Times reporter Shane Goldmacher. “He’s not a nice person and he doesn’t have any real friends.”

Don't mention daddy Mario to anyone who owned Long Island Lighting Co. stock or LILCO bonds like me. That wacko single handedly destroyed LILCO causing billions in losses for shareholders and bond holders.

Not to mention the people who were served by LILCO who since its demise have paid some of the highest electricity rates in the USA.

Mario and Andrew both served 3 terms each as Governor. Obviously, someone likes them.

Or - at least liked them better than any opponents that they faced.

He was married to a Kennedy, and had 3 daughters. It's amazing how many democrats are intertwined, and even have high level jobs in the media. No wonder you can't believe the "news."

These morons think they’re royalty. These elitist 1%’ers.
Many of these marriages are “arranged” so to speak.
They marry to become power couples/families.
How many of these skells found true love at the checkout lane or the gas station or whatever.
They don’t marry for love, they marry for power and status. Skells. All of them.
