Exactly. As soon as I saw that grifter Al Sharpton on the stage with the new moron Lt Governor, I thanked God I didn't live in NY. What a clownshow my home state, a state that I once loved, has become.
It will affect NJ too. In that my house keeps increasing exponentially in value. Thanks to idiots like DeBlasio and Hochul, I'll retire soon, just on my home equity alone. And then move as far away from the NYC metro area as I can.
Freedom isn't dependent upon which Big Pharma chemical is in your body. The sooner the population realizes this, the less dark the path this country will have to go down. For now, it seems like a dark, dark path we are headed down.
This is so disappointing. I thought we were collectively realizing that we shouldn't stop society for a virus with such a low death rate, but I guess she didn't get the memo. Or maybe she's busy spouting "long covid!" and "but but but, the children!!!".
Between this, the vaccine mandates, and the eviction moratorium, it's clear that she likes the 2020 version of society (i.e. the Orwellian version) more than the 2019 version.
That does not apply when it endangers another person's body. If a person is not vaccinated, they are spreaders of a deadly disease.

First off, an abortion certainly DOES affect another person's body. It is the willful termination of a life.
Next, a vaccinated person can certainly spread the virus. It could be argued they are more likely to spread it since they are more likely to have little to no symptoms (while a person with symptoms should be more likely to quarantine).
Finally, you are conflating vaccinated with infected (which everyone seems to be doing).
An uninfected person, vaccinated or not, can NOT spread the virus. Only an infected person can.
The "unvaccinated" are not spreading anything. It is only the infected. We should stop putting the emphasis on vaccine cards and passports, which mean nothing. It makes more sense to focus on testing to determine who is _infected_.

I actually agree with you on that point. But many others argue that an abortion is a termination of a cell, not human life. So I was just playing devil's advocate on why that would make sense to some degree. But not getting vaccinated DOES affect another person's life, no matter how you look at it. Don't forget, 99.5% of people infected right now are the unvaccinated. And that is why they are calling this a "pandemic of the unvaccinated."
