In the 'Thrills' section of the guide I saw the Whirlpool Jetboat Tour out of Lewiston. We're for sure doing Maid of the Mist and I'm very interested in also trying this Jetboat. Has anyone reading this ever done it? Is it a little scary? Is it definitely safe? The guidebook kind of makes it seem like it's for the very adventurous, saying it's perfect for "adrenaline junkies" and noting the ride goes through class five rapids. I've done whitewater rafting before but obviously this would be different.
