PUA unemployment verification deadline (required, paid, date)

I received a letter from the NYS Dept of labor requesting verification of my eligibility for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance benefits. The letter is dated 5/20/2022.

The letter states I was notified of this on or prior to March 3, 2022. And now I must provide proof no later than July 1st, 2022.

Later in the letter it goes on to state if I don't provide the required documentation within 90 days of the original notice, I will be ineligible for the benefits and they must be repaid.

I never received a letter prior to this letter from NYS DOL.

I searched thru my email's spam box and found an email dated Feb 25th 2022. 90 days from that would be May 26th.

It's very confusing. Is NYS DOL extending the deadline or not?

"You must provide proof by July 1, 2022..."

Letter further goes on to state you have until that date (1 July 2022) to submit information requested. Finally says if you submitted same on or before 3 March 2022 disregard notice.

Upload or send in information requested soon as you can, and be done with things so don't have to worry.
