The person you’re responding to isn’t the brightest. Somehow he’s a council member but he’s stillnot the brightest.

At least, the bond guarantees that when Trump loses the appeal, Carroll will not have to chase after Trump to get paid. Chubb who is the guarantor is a Swiss company with heavy connections in Russia. Lots of good info in the below link on how bonds work and other relevant issues behind the guarantor.

It’s almost a certainty the award will be reduced. They almost always are in these types of cases although by exactly how much is anyone’s guess.

I agree, and I'm still scratching my head over how someone can "marinate" for 30 years or more, and then file charges, based on how they were SO grievously offended. It they were that hurt, I would think a rational person would have filed charges within hours. In fact, why didn't they immediately summon "store security"????

It’s sad that accusations seem to be enough to get someone on the wrong side of a political belief in trouble. It’s like third world country.

As for Russia, Putin played right into the Wests hands by conducting a military operation in Ukraine. The west started the problem by violating the Minsk agreements. Now, the Ukrainians will be owned by the IMF, have austerity imposed upon them and be forever indebted to mega corporations like BlackRock. Conglomerates- who bribe US politicians cannot afford to lose to Russia. There are too many investments. This is why they continue this war that is impossible for such a small country to win. And then you have people like Rasta unknowingly rooting for the bad guys because the media is bribed and owned as well.

Well accusations are enough if you’re on the right. Absolutely no evidence whatsoever is strong enough to convict a leftist.
