He might be a disgusting human being but if you don’t see this for the politically motivated prosecution that it is and all of the dangers that brings with it then you’re naive.

Welcome to chocolate city where they’ll prosecute some rich guy for supposedly lying to other rich guys but you can get carjacked, shot, and bleed out on a dirty NYC street by some lowlife with a 10 year rap sheet.
Very well stated!!

plenty of fraud all around for sure with big bucks being made at those banks and certain individuals at those banks

Banks love to inflate their balance sheets. It helps them do business as well. The more collateral they show on the books, the more they can borrow to lend against.

Do you think if I go to a bank and my house is worth $500K and I tell them it's worth $5MM, they'll just take my valuation at face value? They'll laugh me out of the bank. They knew what they were doing and they were fine with it for obvious reasons.

So instead of addressing real issue, chocolate city wastes city resources on this prosecution.

The entire medical supply industry literally rips NYC and NY for hundreds of millions a year and no widespread prosecutions. There's rampant welfare fraud to the tune of billions per year in NYC and no widespread prosecutions. Rampant city/state contract fraud and nothing.

While Rome burns, Nero fiddles. Welcome to chocolate city.

Maybe Donald should consider a reverse mortgage on all those wonderful properties !
Hopefully he has Tom Selleck on speed dial.

No one was willing to pay a half a billion dollars for Mar-a-Lago.

It was listed for 20 million 40 years ago before he brought it ironically

“ There are also nearby comps.

To put it in perspective, a 2-acre wooded lot at 1980 S. Ocean Blvd., just 5 minutes from Mar-a-Lago, is currently listed for $150 million. Mar-a-Lago, situated at 1100 S. Ocean Blvd., dwarfs this lot tenfold and operates as a commercial business with around 500 members as part of the golf club.

Also nearby: a 2.3-acre plot of land at 1063/1071 N. Ocean Blvd., on the market for a sky-high $200 million.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate boasts a sprawling 20 acres.“

Don’t forget Forbes estimated it at 160 million in 2018

Per the irs the fair market values can use these factors as well

“ Factors. In making and supporting the valuation of property, all factors affecting value are relevant and must be considered. These include, but are not limited to:
The cost or selling price of the item,
Sales of comparable properties,
Replacement cost, and
Opinions of experts.”
