Is This A Good Area To Finish Raising A Family. We're Looking For A Good School System And A Great Area To Finish Raising Our Kids. Are There Good Doctors In This Area? My Dad Needs A Cardiologist, Endocrinologist And A Nephrologist. Any Insight Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks, Deirdre

Diedre,

The clients I've toured Minisink with do like the area but the most common complaint is the distance to NYC but otherwise it's a stunning area. Minisink is near the Orange Regional Medical Center (http://www.ormc.org/) (broken link). Check out the website and look into the various fields that are covered for your father but I'm sure many of those fields are available locally. Have you visited the area yet?

Deeds... I went to Minisink Schools as a youth 5th-10th grades but it was many moons ago. I visited a few years back and th area still seemed quiet and the schools were still looking good. Best of Luck

Yes, the schools are good, but its a bit of a distance to anywhere, Middletown is your closest shopping, but if you dont have to commute its good.
