I moved away from NY to Atlanta GA 11 years ago and now find myself 36 and STILL single. I cannot relate to the people here as well as I can to the upfront NY state types, and I am missing NY personalities and thinking about moving back. Does anyone know where I am going to find high concentrations of 35-45 single, no kids, marriage minded college degreed men in NY State ?

I'm 40, single, two degrees, no kids, up front... not marriage minded. Why ruin a good thing.

My guess is to look in NYC where there is a high concentration of people.

Not on Long Island..unless you go to bars and clubs. I think finding single men that age without kids (and not gay..no offense) is quite hard in the suburbs. I agree, maybe in NYC you'd be luckier.

Default Accidently found your post

Now, this is not what you expected to hear, but move to Birmingham.

This is where I met my husband (I'm from the Midwest). I lived in Atlanta for 2 years and found it full of women and the men were just players for the most part 'cause they could.

I found in Bham that most of the women by age 30 were all married, or divorced with kids. Single-never married women over 30 were very rare. What happens there is single men over 30 are mostly transferred professionals or work for UAB, usually at the hospital as docs or specialists.

I am now a stay at home mom and hubby makes a 6-figure income. We currently live in Missouri. I met him in Bham when I was in my early 30s.

If you want to email me, I'm at teachcal@tranquility.net. Coincidentally, I'm 1/2 way through writing a book about the same topic (Areas of the US with a surplus of single guys.)

Though I'm about the last dude in the world who's ever consider getting a facial or something, "metrosexuals" are not necessarily weirdos. And, meth takers? They're usually more interested in watching dirty movies on DVD than humans. Hence, they never go out and you never see them.

NY Tom,

This is a state prison listing (for the most part). Come on, get real.
No one is that desperate.
