Do you mean you want to "rice rocket" your ride? You can change the exhaust tips on any car but most of the time it's for show and not go.

Unless you had a V6 Altima with its sweet sounding VQ I wouldn't bother. You're not going to get any decent sound from it and don't even bother looking at any performance gains.

Did it not come with an exhaust? If is has fallen off go to a muffer shop and buy a new one. If it is attached and working, leave it there.
I think the true definition of an oxymoron would be a riced hybrid car with a bean can exhaust. It just boggles the mind why you would want to do that!.

It sure would sound funny with the engine going on and off. However, the Nissan Altima Hybrid runs the 4 cylinder in an Atkinson cycle and I've always thought that the exhaust flow should be increased for the extended combustion to clear out. But you don't need a loud exhaust to accomplish that.
