The anti-social fella or overly social fella???

I tend to think the anti-social type of personality is much more destructive.

What say you?

Feel free to list any examples from your own life.

I say that this is a divisive and destructive topic, so are you anti-social?

I'm not sure, I think you can split it down further.

Antisocials and socialisers who have no bad intentions are not destructive to anything.
Whereas the antisocial who's out to cause misery for others, and the narcissistic socialite who wants the whole world to revolve around them can.

As an example, I'm in a car club. I'm not very social, but I do try, and I try to make the most of it while I'm at an event.
I have been blessed with a quick wit, and dry sense of humour, and although I don't contribute much, I'm always there with a joke and a laugh.
Another guy in the club loves to socialise and mingle, he'll talk to anybody. He can often be the catalyst to kickstart an event, or to get little cliques to mingle.

We have another antisocial member who hates these events, and will always try to put people off, or will create a drama so others don't enjoy it either.
His opposite is the really loud guy who thinks he is the party and the sun shines out of his arse. He can't leave anyone alone for long, because he wants to make sure everyone's talking about him, or has noticed him.

And what do you mean by anti-social? Someone who is merely socially awkward and doesn't talk to people or someone who has no respect for society, breaks laws and shows contempt for social norms?

Ah yes, yet another term that has been perverted to mean something it really doesn't mean. Cf. 'nice'.

Most people these days, unfortunately and INCORRECTLY, would say the former constitutes being 'anti-social'.

people that's very social don't get it. they think everything is so simple for other people b/c it work for them. like 'why don't you just blank blank?' they makes me sick with their ways and thinking they're on some kind of pedestal above the lowly non socials.

My use of the term "anti-social" was meant to be a simplistic one.

I am not referencing psychopathy of any kind.

I am simply talking about folks who prefer NOT to mix or socialize with others preferring rather to live the hermit lifestyle.
