I have some old photos of when I was little with my old best friends. I was wondering is there a way to find them by just putting the photo online and their profiles or info pops up?

I should hope not - that would be kind of creepy. Don't you remember their names? You can try searching for them on Facebook but it's not like there is a national or international database of every human being in the country/world along with an age progression and facial recognition software. At least, not one that just anyone could access! Maybe if you worked for Interpol or something.... but otherwise, would YOU be comfortable knowing anyone could track you down now with just a picture of you from when you were a kid?

Give more details, I would be very hesitant to do this. Is this a female friend from long ago? - I agree with the othe poster, honestly, I would not post photos of people online without their permission, no matter how long ago it might have been.

Here are a few tips: you can find other people by using good online researching skills and if you don't have them, ask a friend or relative to help you with locating this person. If you know your friend's approximate age and location, you might have a better chance of finding her. If your friend is male, it is usually easier to find him, since they rarely change their names. So with that in mind, I have found male classmates online much easier than female classmates. Assuming you are in the US, you can find people more easily with just a little more information than an using an old photo.
