My oldest daughter and her DH just went to see "Battle of Gods", the new Dragon Ball Z release. They are 28 and 30, and have been Dragon Ball Z fans for years. My youngest is an artist and has a whole shelf of anime drawing books. Sailor Moon was her favorite growing up, and she still enjoys watching and drawing anime. She's 22.

Is that in theaters now? I missed Miyazaki's final film and I'm still kicking myself.

No it is not. Everyone has its own freedom. We can do whatever things we wanted to do. Never mind those people who can't appreciate.

I don't care what other people say or think about, I will be watching cartoons until I die and I watch them almost every single day.

I don't think you can ever be too old for any hobbies. As long as you're being productive in life, who cares what you like to do? Stick to what makes you happy and never worry about what others say or think about it.
