I want to do something special for my husband's birthday, but I don't know what to do. He doesn't like cake so I'm not going to get that for him he also said he doesn't want a gift. Anyone have any good suggestions of some things I can do for him?
maybe a total day off on the closest weekend. No chores (unless he wants to); his choice of tv shows, no comments on that ratty t-shirt and torn jeans. Doesn't even have to shave.
no cake but does he like strawberry shortcake? Tis the season.
I agree with the others-there's no gift greater than memories made.
I love to give gifts and even when someone in my family member says no gifts I still get something. Even if it is small it is the thought especially if you think of something creative.
Does he have any hobbies?
Does he have a favorite restaurant?
I gave an ex a 'memories' gift one year. I had these real small Chinese paper ring boxes (find them on ebay). I had something in each one which represented, "Love" "Laughter" and "Luck" They weren't major more cute than anything and like for "Luck" I had this casino chip I kept when we went there one night. That's how small the box is. I won't describe the one for laughter but some thought went into that one and we did laugh.
