Should have, could have. I didn't WANT to.

Wasn't my question anyway.

It was a big thing in the 90's. I could probably pick it up again pretty quickly if I tried. Same with the electric slide.

Thats not what yopu implied in your first posts. You mentioned it looked fun but you didn't have a clue and felt out of the loop. That sounded like you wanted to join in but didn't know how. If you really had no interest in participating then what's the problem?

I don't know how to do it, don't wanna do it, and I had no idea people were still doing it . I sound like a grump, I know, but god how I hated that stupid song and dance.
That's what I was thinking when I saw this thread, I think if they play it at a wedding it is for the benefit of the parents and not the bride and groom who are too young to remember or care.

Acually, the bride and groom were about 25 years old, and the bride and sisters were out dancing to it!

You are reading into my post. My question was about how many people know it, not can you teach me.

Read into it all you want. I don't care. That's your problem, not mine.

Fine, remain clueless and out of the loop. Not my problem.

Lol. The Macarena is a no-win situation : If you don't know it, people think you're stupid. But if you do know it, you look even more stupid for doing it. * Avoid at all costs!
