Just curious. This was asked back in 1976 and I wonder how people in 2016 might answer. It's not the same idea as "Are you glad you had children?"

Yes, but I probably would have waited a few more years; we were 27 when our first was born, which seems so damn young now.

Yes but I would have waited until I was older. I was 18 when I had my son. I also wish I would have had more than just the one.

Yep. But I would have done it sooner, say when I was 28. Our first came when I was 32, our third when I was 37. Big difference between the two ages, let me tell you. Plus, I like the idea of shipping the last kid off to college by the time I was 50.

Not when I had mine and not with that person.

I'm certainly glad I have my kids now though, but the situation was less than ideal then.

Yes. I have three. Two were surprises, one was planned. Love them all, very happy with the suprises even though the timing on each was less than ideal.
