Need some solid advice on how to not care what people say about me, how they look at me or have thoughts of I wonder what they think of me?

I am not sure if you can truly change that. How old are you?

We meet again. What makes you think I can't change it?

Yes. How old are you? 18? I am not being snarky, either - but you talk like an 18 year old.

If you more often than not believe that other people you barely know have an opinion of you, then you are operating from a SELF-centered point of view.

The quickest way to get over that is to develop an OTHERS-centered point of view
, where you stop focusing so much on your own ego, your need for outside approval, and an insecure motivation to constantly prove yourself, and put other people and their needs at the forefront.

In other words, care about other people and work hard to reach out and be helpful.

Stop thinking you're the sun and spend some time just orbiting with the other planets for a while.

I believe it take confidence in oneself

lots of times, we as human beings, share our thoughts, our family life, our vacations, where we're going this weekend, and very few people look at you smiling while saying, "oh that's great, have a great time".

I find a lot of people find something negative to say about what your doing or where your going.

that is there problem and they feel that way out of fear....

plus, if it brings you down, then what your actually doing is looking for approval from those people and you won't get it.

Also, at least with me, the older you grow, the less you care about what people think about you.
you want a peaceful life...without noise, and needy people, so you start to back off from that, cutting people out of your life....

when you possess confidence, honestly you don't care, and you are able to take care of yourself and are no longer indebted to anyone for anything, least of all, approval for how you think and feel.

Huh?

Because it is part of your character and personality. And the older you are, the more difficult it is to change even if you WANT to.

Why an 18 year old? Why not 17 or 19? What's the difference between those 3 ages?
