The question says it all, what factors and reasons are of some having more friends that others?
Attractive, fun and outgoing personalities obviously find it easier to meet people and make the effort to get to know others and it's mutual usually as they tend to draw people to them.
If you're the opposite then you'll struggle naturally.

Yes... this is common sense 101, basic knowledge 101, basic guessing at what it could be 101.
some people cannot be by themselves or alone....they HAVE to be with others.. very gregarious, and love to socialize
usually these are people trying to run from their demons, not deal with them
Well, I don't know if that's fair. And I actually used to feel the same way, that people who "needed" to be around other people all the time were weak because they couldn't stand on their own or something. But you could say the same thing about people who love to be by themselves, like why can't they handle being around people all the time? It actually kind of appears more normal that people would like to be around other people.
Anyway, I really think that people are just wired differently.
Looks and Self-Confidence based on my observations.
