Im looking to possibly relocate to NC next year. Can someone please give me advice of what locations i should consider looking into. I have a kindergartner (will be first grade next yr). Also, i need a location where the schools are really good. How is the employment in NC? Im planning a trip next month to start looking at areas. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

It is impossible to make a recommendation out of an entire, diverse state based on what you mention. Do you want mountains or beach? Rural, suburban, or urban? Liberal or conservative? What industry would you be looking for work in? Unemployment is high in NC in most areaas, though some fields are OK. We would need a lot more specific info to assist your search. It might be that your ideal isn't even in NC, but in a different state.

I'm curious on how you seem to have decided on NC without appearing to have done much research into the area? You can use the "Search" function and peruse the same questions (with more detail) that have been asked many times before, then come back and ask targetted questions for your own situation, for the best help. You should never decide "I'm moving to NC!" without having a specific destination or reason in mind and, in this day and age, a job lined up.

Finding a school is easy. Plenty of first grades, all over the state. Look here for school information: NC School Report Cards.

Finding a job is harder. Get that first.
