short term rental with fenced yard for dog (Hillsborough: house, tenant)

Folks are coming down from Michigan to look at the area, want to rent a house in or near Hillsborough that has a fenced yard for a dog. The regular realtors have only 12-month leases, but they will be here just for a couple of months.

Might be tough to find a short term lease with dogs. Check CL, there might be one, but very unlikely.

check with a corporate housing outfit, but be prepared to pay a premium.

as a landlord myself, I can tell you that a two-month tenant sounds like a lot of work for very little money. I agree with checking CL, but have them post a "wanted" ad too.

I'm not familiar with the specific area, but you'd be surprised at what turns up on homeaway.com and vrbo.com. I'd certainly check those sites. It will be a furnished rental, and owners are often negotiable with the prices, especially if you are renting for several months.
