Speaking of spiders, though, we have had a run of large, about 1/2 dollar sized, legs and all, very fast, dark brown with black stripes in the house. NO WAY. We have had to kill those.... anybody have any idea what they are?
I think that may be what I found this week in my house (I wrote about it in two other posts because I was so freaked out) and I am still not sure what it is. Are wolf spiders super fast and seem to know you want to kill it? It felt like the spider knew I was there trying to catch it and it would almost jump it was so fast. I googled wolf spiders and I think it may have been one. It was huge, brown and FAST.
We get wolf spiders inside the house and they are FAST and do jump. I think they hunt by sight, so they are very aware of you!! They really creep us all out.

That is an awesome pic!!!! I wish I had a macro lens!
Here is one I took earlier today:
This spider has been camping out between my hydrangeas for weeks now LOL.
Do you know what this spider is called, what his family is, if he is poisonous or not? We just found one in our backyard today, and since we have black widows everywhere we killed it right away... but I'm not sure we should have been scared of it or not. Please either post reply or send me a message if you know the answer. We're a little freaked out here!!!

This is really, really, scaring me! I had problems in CO with black fast spiders, anyone know of any spider repelant, like how is made for ants but stronger??
How common is it for a spider to be in the house??? I never see them in FL. I 'd rather have snakes in my house than a spider anyday, that is how much I don't like them!!

Well, bless your heart! Spiders are the least of your worries - here in NC, we get copperheads (POISONOUS snake) in the house.
