24 year old making 87K? I bet you these kids are the sons and daughters of big donors.
My wife is in the field and knows the people that report to these kids and told me there is no way in hell anyone without copious experience in the field can guide policy at that level. She is livid. And she could not care less about politics.
Despite Obamacare allowing 26 yearold "kids" to continue to breast feed off there parents health insurance nipple, a 24 year old is an adult and has been for 6 years.

With all due respect, who the Hell are any of you to decide what someone gets paid? What their experience/lack of experience is worth? Sounds like a bunch of grumpy jack legs hating on "kids" for managing to secure a sweet, sweet job that pays them more than a lot of jobs available at that age.

Yeah, why should we care when inexperienced kids, who happen to know somebody high up, get paid a ridiculous amount of our tax money while our professional, experienced teachers, who happen to be entrusted with educating our kids, are treated like grunt workers? It makes no sense to be angry about that, now does it?

We happen to be the taxpayers! So we are the ones who are over paying Pat McCrorys unqualified cronies!
Maybe they are. Proove it. My wife is a project manager at a large financial organization. She loves the kids right out of NC state for run circles around the guys who have been in place for 15 years.

Who am I? The taxpayer that funds their salary and who wants to see our state's government made up of the best and the brightest, not McCrory's flunkies who rode coattails into a sweet job that they're not at all qualified for. It gets better (by better, I mean worse)

Every company has slack force members but freshouts know little to nothing about the culture, business operations and managing people. That's why most leadership positions require several years of experience. When looking for a mechanic, business analyst, programmer, doctor, lawyer, etc...I think most people would rather take the word of an experienced professional than some young no-nothing political appointee. Don't get me wrong, I applaud the staffers for ambition and working the game, but this governor is displaying a high level of hypocrisy regarding government spending. You can't claim to be a government spending hawk in certain areas then provide 30%+ raises to advanced interns.
