I'm a single male in my early 30's who will be moving to North Carolina, and will be working in Mooresville. I am trying to figure out the best place for me to live. I would like to be at the most 15-20 minutes away from work, with the option of public transportation if possible. I would also like to live in a place where it is easy for me to meet people around my age as well, and has nightlife nearby. I also have a dog so like to take him on walks etc as well.
I would appreciate some recommendations on cities, neighborhoods, apartment complexes where I should focus my search if possible.
For the things you want you'll likely have to live in Charlotte but your commute will be longer. The Lake Norman area is suburban (more older families than singles) in nature and the nightlife is in Charlotte.
