Whitsett is a small town, located on the Eastern-most edge of Guilford County, in between Greensboro and Burlington. The main street, Highway 61, has many beautifully restored older home, one of which, if I recall, was featured on a national TV show (HGTV, I think). It is located right off of Interstate 40/85 (Exit 138). It is located near the Rock Creek Industrial Park and the Stoney Creek Golf Course. It is almost entirely residential, but businesses and restaurants are near by in either Greensboro or Burlington.

Hi Calliegal, I live in the Whitsett area, it's very rural but growing. Lots of new neighborhoods popping up, single family homes and townhomes. Moderator cut: keep contact info in profile
I am thinking of retiring from New York and relocating to an upcoming Active Adult community in Whitsett. I was wondering about the religious diversity in the area. Also, does anyone know if there's a jewish community center nearby?
As far as Whitsett goes, I love the area. A little concerned about good nearby Health facilities, but you get a lot for your $.. at least compared to New York.
