IMO our republicans aren't serious about small government until they give us the initiative.

Uh no. Ballot initiatives have been used to attack civil rights and minorities. Moreover, we have a representative democracy that Optimally should guard against the tyranny of the majority.

What ballot initiative are you referring to?

And no, NC Republicans are not at all for small government, at least not when it comes to social issues such as regulating abortion doctors or raising taxes on the working people in the way of sales taxes.
