I have T-Moblie and was just looking at their coverage map on their website...looks like it will be fairly unreliable (and roaming) while I'm in NC over the next 2 weeks. So who does have good coverage in NC?

I was up around Lake Lure 2 weeks ago with several people and my phone service (Cingular) was the only one working.
I was contracting above Lake Lure on Gateway mountain and had dead zones. I have a friend who has sprint and he has dead zones. But along the highways it seems to be ok just when you get off on the side roads is when I have trouble.
I did hit some dead zones in the mountains now, but not here in Raleigh. I take that back-one area heading towards Wake Forest on Falls of the Neuse Rd. where it gets windy.
Thanks for all the responses. Yes, I had thought of getting a prepaid phone with a different company for my trip, but since we have a national plan with T-Mobile, I won't actually pay for roaming, I just won't have all the regular features and services I would at home (like free mobile-to-mobile minutes). They said I'll be going off of Cingular's towers. One good thing about T-Mobile not having service there is that if I move there, I'll hopefully be able to get out of my 2-year contract without paying the fees... which would be really great because T-Mobile is the devil!!!!
(Incredibly bad customer service)
