Hi everyone, I’m trying find a job out in North Carolina, near the major populated areas (Greensboro, Charlotte, Raleigh, etc…) I’m a professional with over 10 years experience as an SAP MM Functional Analyst. If you know of any leads I would appreciate it. Also, if you know what companies use SAP I could use that information as well.
Thank you

Hope you take this the right way*, but with 10 years into that work....
what MM Functional Analysis professional groups do you belong to?
That sort of contact developing and networking is only exceeded by specific personal
contact through others you've worked with in the past or currently to find new jobs.
Certainly superior to the off chance that a general interest forum reader can help.
Those folks, and other similar resources should be able to provide a list of the sorts of companies
or institutions where your work is used and a smaller list of places where someone is actually needed.
just sayin'.

I don't even know what SAP is I'm sure it's a safe bet that it's done most frequently in and
around major populated areas.
What draws you to NC in particular to ply your trade?

Your best bet would be the Raleigh area. You may also want to focus on Charlotte.
Check out dice.com. They publish many tech jobs, especially requiring skills in SAP.

SAP is a software that is sold to businesses (it's used in accounting functions among other things) . It's a direct competitor of Oracle (and it's software). I thought SAP had an office in Raleigh but my quick google search didn't bring it up. Along with dice.com, check out indeed.com as well. I have a neighbor who's daughter works for SAP in their Philly office.

SAP, like ORACLE ERP, is an enterprise system widely used by many large and mid sized companies to handle data and business workflows for everything from HR to Finance to Supply Chain. There are many, many jobs out there for people with strong SAP technical skills.

1. No, I didn’t take it the wrong way. I’m apart of a few network groups focused in my area of practice. Unfortunately, my network and history are mainly in Chicago, so I’m developing new contacts. This shout out is but one of many facets I’m using to try and find a new job
2. The truth, it’s the only place in America that my wife and I both like. I’m from Chicago and she’s from New Orleans. The location is cool, there are interesting areas around it and I can go camping whenever I want.
Everyone else. I probably should have made this clear. I’m scouring indeed, monster, dice, LinkedIn, etc. I’ve also been in talks with several consulting firms and head hunters. I like to be thorough and send out feelers on here as well. You never know.
Thank you all for your responses.
