Hi Everybody, I have a question about areas in North Carolina. If you could live anywhere in North Carolina, where would it be? Schools are number one with us. Next would be close to somewhere with culture, movies, shopping, theater, restaurants, things for kids to do, ect..., next a little bit of land. We like neighbors just don't want to be on top of them. We like a town community over just spread out. Housing 100-250,000 My husband is a new store developer for restaurants so he doesn't need to be in a big city. So where would you pick? Thanks like many others looking to move north from Florida. I appreciate any suggestions on where to start looking and researching before visiting.

The Charlotte area clearly has a lot to do and a strong economy. Some rual towns in the area with good schools and homes in your price range are Mt. Pleasant, Troutman, and Clover.
